1:- English grammar: refers to the rules and guidelines that govern the structure, composition, and usage of the English language. It includes the study of how words are formed and how they are used in sentences to convey meaning.

2:- English grammar covers different areas such as parts of speech (e.g., nouns, verbs, adjectives), sentence structure (e.g., subject-verb agreement, word order), punctuation, and spelling.

Note:- Understanding and following English grammar rules is important for effective communication in both spoken and written forms of the language.

Example: writing part of speech where it must be used (استعمال) in sentence.

.مثال: تقریر کا وہ حصہ لکھنا جہاں اسے جملے میں استعمال کیا جانا چاہیے

For example: I am recording video lectures.

مثال کے طور پر: میں ویڈیو لیکچرز ریکارڈ کر رہا ہوں۔

2:- What is Letter? لیٹر کیا ہے؟

A symbol (علامت) usually written or printed representing a speech sound (آواز) and constituting a unit of an alphabet.

ایک علامت عام طور پر تحریری یا چھپی ہوئی تقریر کی آواز کی نمائندگی کرتی ہے اور حروف تہجی کی اکائی تشکیل دیتی ہے۔

For example: a,b,c… 1,2,3… ا،ب،ت.

3:- What is Word?   لفظ کیا ہے؟

In simple words: A group of letters which makes complete meaningful (معنی خیز) word is called a word.

آسان الفاظ میں: حروف کا ایک گروپ جو مکمل معنی خیز لفظ بناتا ہے اسے لفظ کہتے ہیں۔

In English grammar, a word is a basic unit of language that carries meaning and can stand alone or be combined with other words to form a sentence. A word can be a noun (e.g., “cat”), a verb (e.g., “run”), an adjective (e.g., “happy”), an adverb (e.g., “quickly”), a pronoun (e.g., “he”), a conjunction (e.g., “and”), a preposition (e.g., “in”), or an interjection (e.g., “wow”).

Words can also be categorized based on their form such as whether they are regular or irregular verbs, or whether they are singular or plural nouns. They can also be classified based on their function in a sentence, such as whether they are the subject, object, or predicate of a sentence.

In this summary, a word is a fundamental unit of language that conveys meanings and can be used in a variety of ways to create sentences and convey your ideas.

For example: Apple, boys, cat… Asif, Suresh, Danish.

4:- What is Sentence? جملا کیا ہے؟

In simple words: A group of words which make a complete sense (معنی رکھتا) is called a Sentence.

آسان الفاظ میں: الفاظ کا وہ گروپ جو مکمل معنی رکھتا ہو اسے جملہ کہا جاتا ہے۔

For example: I was writing later. | He had driven car…

.مثال کے طور پر: میں بعد میں لکھ رہا تھا۔ | اس نے گاڑی چلائی تھی

In English grammar, a sentence (ایک جملہ) is a group of words that expresses a complete thought. (الفاظ جو مکمل سوچ کا اظہار کرتے ہیں۔) It typically consists of a subject and a predicate, with the subject being the noun or pronoun that performs the action or is the focus of the sentence, and the predicate being the verb or verb phrase that describes the action or state of being of the subject.

A sentence can be as simple as “The cat meowed” or as complex as “After finishing his homework, Sarim went to bed early.”

It can be declarative (making a statement), interrogative (asking a question), imperative (giving a command), or exclamatory (expressing strong emotion).
